Terms and payout responsibilities
Using Giveaway Control
Giveaway Control provides software to organise giveaways and to store and communicate viewer setup and payout information. Each giveaway is run by its named organiser, who is responsible for its published rules, eligibility, prize and delivery. Ordinary chat entry does not require a Giveaway Control account, a linked setup, an email or a wallet. A particular giveaway may publish additional eligibility rules. Creating a Viewer account is optional.
Use only platform accounts you are entitled to control. Do not impersonate another viewer, evade entry rules, manipulate results or attempt to access another person's information. Organisers must keep their own accounts secure and use payout details only to arrange the relevant prize.
Your receiving address is your responsibility
Check your wallet address and network carefully before saving. You are responsible for making sure the address you provide is correct and can receive the selected cryptocurrency on the network shown.
Cryptocurrency transactions may be irreversible. Giveaway Control cannot recover funds sent to an incorrect address or unsupported network.
Check the complete destination with your wallet or receiving service, including whether it accepts the specific asset on the stated network. The supported networks here are Bitcoin Mainnet for BTC, Ethereum Mainnet for ETH, and Ethereum Mainnet ERC-20 for USDT and USDC. A token ticker or an address that begins 0x does not establish compatibility with every blockchain.
Format and checksum checks do not prove that you own a wallet or that an exchange or receiving service will credit a payment. Giveaway Control cannot guarantee a third-party service's support. Never provide a private key, seed phrase, recovery phrase or signing credential.
The organiser checks and sends the prize
This address was supplied by the winner. Before sending the prize, confirm the amount, asset, network and destination with them. Cryptocurrency transactions may be irreversible. You send the payment from your own wallet or payment service; Giveaway Control does not send it.
An address shown here is a winner-supplied address, not a promise that wallet ownership has been independently verified. The organiser must check the intended amount, asset, network and full destination with the winner before sending. Do not use an old address after the winner has changed their instructions.
The wallet feature stores receiving information and manages a limited disclosure to the organiser after the viewer approves sharing for the selected prize. It is not a wallet, exchange, custodian or payment processor. Giveaway Control does not take custody of prize funds or execute blockchain transactions. We cannot control the blockchain, destination wallet, the network used by a sender, or a transaction after the sender submits it.
“Winner confirmed” records a giveaway decision. “Marked paid by organiser” records the organiser's statement that a payment was sent. Neither means Giveaway Control sent the payment or verified an on-chain transaction.
Responsibility for losses
You are responsible for the payout details you provide and the payments you send. Giveaway Control is not responsible for losses caused solely by incorrect payout instructions, an incompatible address or network, or an unsupported receiving service, where those losses were not caused or contributed to by our failure to provide the service with reasonable care and skill. This does not exclude responsibility for our own errors, fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Warnings and confirmation boxes do not waive rights that the law protects. They are there to help prevent mistakes and record that the relevant details were checked. They are not an absolute exclusion of liability.
Account and information safety
Keep your password private and check the connected Twitch or Kick username after authorising it. On a shared device, sign out when finished. A guest must retain their browser session or prove control of the original connected platform account(s) again to manage saved information. An account is an optional way to make returning easier.
Receiving addresses must not be copied into public chat, ordinary giveaway reports or broadcast overlays. When viewing a private payout panel, the organiser must keep that window off-stream. A screen-sharing or recording tool outside Giveaway Control can capture what the organiser displays.
Questions or a problem with a prize
Contact the organiser about the rules, amount or delivery of their prize. Contact the Giveaway Control operator using our contact page for an account, privacy, security or software issue. Keep transaction identifiers and other relevant evidence with the sender or receiving service when investigating a blockchain payment; never send private keys or recovery phrases to support.
Our Privacy notice explains how setup and payout information is handled.
